Who We Are
Child’s Survival and Family Development Initiative (CSI) is a non-profit organization conceived and established to provide society-driven intervention and strengthen existing local structures to address the socio-cultural, education, health, and financial challenges of rural and resource-poor communities in Nigeria. We encourage active participation and involvement of target communities, strengthen their capacity, and work with them to collectively address common issues targeted at improving societal well-being and sustainability.

To promote society’s well-being, build household resilience, and reduce the vulnerability of resource-poor communities.
Our Vision
A society with a positive attitude where members are empowered to be self-reliant and make informed decisions about issues of concern.
Our Mission
To achieve the well-being of resource-poor communities and provide a platform for self-sufficiency through issue-based advocacy, capacity building, sustainable entrepreneurship, and strategic partnership.
Specific Corporate Objectives
To provide comprehensive targeted services that address major public health issues in Nigeria especially gaps in malaria, TB, immunization, WASH, Nutrition, SRHRs/MNCH/HIV/AIDs Prevention, community care & support services based on research, needs and emerging health issues.
To reduce poverty and achieve households’ sustainable self-help enterprise development through specific skill development and linkages to other support including seed grants, microfinancing, and mentoring / technical assistance.
3. To collaborate with communities, community-based organizations/civil society organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders; and facilitate access to quality and sustainable education, protection, safeguarding, health, entrepreneurship, and community development initiatives.
